Frame Routine is a graphic organizer designed to help students organize their reading around topics, main ideas, and details.  It allows them to see the text’s structure and internal relationship and aid in making sense of complicated texts.

Specific Frame Analysis in music

Music has organizational structures similar to the frame routine.  Musical themes are built from a variety of elements, including form, melody, harmony, and rhythm.  The Frame Routine is used to track the development of the theme as well as the key components that define the theme.
