Happy Birthday Challenge

Learn more about the history of the song and then work on your own rendition to share on Flipgrid.  Have a relative/friend with an upcoming birthday?  Share it with them in a virtual greeting.  Extension opportunity to write out your version in Noteflight. Home Recital

Perform a recital at home for an audience of your choice.  Be sure to show your audience in the video!  It could include parents, siblings, your dog(s), cat, hamster, collection of stuffed animals, lego sets, the sky is the limit but keep it cool for school!  Teachers will join in on the recital.  Participate in other recitals by watching a friend's video. . How-to-video Creation

Help build a library of how-to Flipgrid videos for use with the beginning band students on Canvas next year.  Do you remember what it was like to get your instrument for the first time?  It is an amazing, scary and fun adventure.  Help the beginning band students of the 2020-2021 school year by creating your own how-to video to be shared in a Canvas library.  Topics include, but are not limited to, how to assemble your instrument, forming an embouchure, making your first sounds, how to hold your instrument, playing Do-Sol. Only 5 Minutes-The 5 Minute Practice Challenge
